CANCELLATION POLICY

Whaling City Athletic Club is proud to offer contract-free memberships. To ensure clarity for all members, the following policy outlines how cancellations, holds, reinstatements, and past-due accounts are handled. These terms are also included in the EFT/Financial Agreement signed at enrollment.

1. Membership Cancellation Requirements

     • Members must provide two weeks’ notice when terminating their membership.

    • A Membership Change Form must be completed at the Front Desk to formally process the cancellation and ensure that bank account or credit card deductions stop before the next billing cycle.

     • We also accept cancellation requests by email. Members may formally cancel by emailing whalingcityathleticclub@gmail.com.

o WCAC will acknowledge all email cancellation requests within one business days.

     • Any request to stop dues—including for vacations or temporary breaks—will be treated as a formal resignation.

2. Reinstatement Policy

     • Members who choose to rejoin WCAC in the future will be subject to the current membership rates at the time of re-enrollment.

     • If a member returns within three months of resigning, a $25 reinstatement fee will be applied.

3. Holds

     • Only medical holds are permitted. Documentation may be required depending on the situation.

4. Past Due Accounts

     • All past-due accounts are subject to a $25 late fee per month.

     • Accounts with outstanding balances may result in membership termination.

5. Member Acknowledgment

By maintaining an active membership, members acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this cancellation policy.
